ABOUT PORT ARANSAS
Port Aransas
is a small, tourist friendly fishing village
located on Mustang
Island, just a short ferry ride from the mainland, near Aransas Pass and Corpus Christi.

is the home of one of the largest and best equipped
charter-fishing fleets on the gulf coast. The fish bite every day in PA.
A day in Port A is not about a day filled with many busy activities. A day in Port Aransas is about family. It’s about nature and the beautiful beach. It’s about fresh air and sunshine. It’s about peace and quiet. The local residents call it "Living on Island Time".
We’ve talked about nature, cruising, and fishing, but what about the food lovers? No fresher, tasteful seafood can be found anywhere. And, if seafood is not your first love, then a wide variety of family dining places can be found year-round in PA. If actually cooking the meal is part of your pleasure, then you can buy your own seafood fresh off the boat and prepare your gourmet meal right in the comfort of your own Sea Isle Village apartment.
Mustang Island has one of the highest bird counts on the Gulf Coast. During the winter months the bird watching on Mustang Island is unequaled in Texas. There are an abundance of birding sites, including the Wetland Park, Joan & Scott Holt Paradise Pond, the Leona Belle Turnbull Birding Center and the South Jetty, all of which are on the Great Texas Birding Trail.
